Kelly Hill, DVM, CHPV
Dr. Kelly Hill has always known she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina and then attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a small animal internship at the University of Missouri, followed by a small animal surgical internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Florida.
Dr. Hill began her career as an emergency veterinarian in Florida and Georgia and then moved to Maine to run the Animal Emergency Clinic in Lewiston, Maine.
She married a Mainer and moved south, where she worked as an emergency veterinarian in Portsmouth and at Maine Veterinary Medical Center in Scarborough. After 16 years in emergency medicine, she moved to general practice with the goal of having more family time and owning her own practice.

Often complimented on her compassionate approach and warm energy, Dr. Hill believes that pets are important members of the family. Dr. Hill understands there’s power in planning and aims to assist owners as they enter a new phase in their pets’ lives.
Dr. Hill is proud to be one of a few hundred veterinarians worldwide certified in hospice and palliative care (CHPV) through the IAAHPC (International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care). Her training incorporates many types of care, including but not limited to pain management, cold laser therapy, physical therapy, herbal medicine, and environmental enrichment.
Dr. Hill lives with her husband, Matt, three daughters, six cats, two dogs, and multiple chickens. Dr. Kelly Hill covers Biddeford, ME, and surrounding areas.

Mary Orff, DVM
Dr. Mary Orff’s journey in the veterinary world began at an early age with her deep-rooted love for animals and a desire to have a positive impact on their lives. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, where she excelled academically and clinically. Since graduation, she has practiced veterinary medicine in Virginia, Maine, and New Hampshire. Dr. Mary is known for her exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with owners and their beloved pets. Her warm and empathetic approach ensures that both feel comfortable and well cared for under her guidance.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mary actively participates in community outreach programs; she writes informative articles about pet care and health for a community newsletter. She believes in empowering pet owners with knowledge and strives to promote responsible pet ownership, emphasizing the importance of regular veterinary visits and preventative care. She also teaches Veterinary Assistant students at the White Mountains Community College and volunteers her time at the local humane society.
